The rosso is a blend of traditional Amarone grapes Corvina and Croatina, built around a backbone of Merlot. Like the Bianco, the grapes were dried for some time in Pasqua’s drying loft, in this case losing up to 30% of the grape volume before pressing. The grapes are taken when deemed ready for vinification, thus occurring in many separate parcels. After pressing, the wine is sent to French oak tonneaux for six months before blending and bottling.

This is a rich and velvety wine with deep colour and very concentrated black fruit flavours. The palate is layered and long with muscular tannins and round, mouth-filling body.
