Grapes ripen in estate vineyards on the well-known promontory of Italy’s Le Colline del Prosecco, the Prosecco hills of Conegliano e Valdobbiadene. Today Bellussi is one of the preeminent Italian sparkling wine houses, with production reaching two million bottles, and some of its wines rated among the top in the world. 

At Alepat Taylor, we import the DOC and DOCG Extra Dry Prosecco wines. The DOCG is 100% Glera is from Conegliano Valdobbiadene, which has a hilly terroir over clay-limestone soil, and a cool Mediterranean climate. This wine is the epitome of Prosecco DOCG, where a delicate bouquet accompanies elegant body. The fruit for the DOC was cultivated from various sites across the hills of Treviso, where a higher proportion of clay in the clay/limestone soils make for a rounder, more voluptuous sparkling wine.
