Montepulciano is grown widely in the region where the Di Giorgio family has its origins, and it’s also particularly well suited to the sometimes arid, temperate maritime climate of the Limestone Coast. Here, it produces medium-bodied dry reds, always relatively plush, with intense colour and soft tannins.

The 2022 has rich strawberry and cherry aromas with hints of spice. Wild strawberries continue onto the palate, layered with more red fruits, black pepper and subtle toastiness from 12 months maturation in seasoned French oak. Complex tannins linger and coat the mouth with a long finish.
