Produced from premium estate-grown vineyards in McLaren Vale, Serafino’s Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted to showcase the richness and varietal character of the region. Matured for approximately 18 months in a combination of French and American oak hogsheads, the wine balances concentrated fruit with structure, complexity and fine-grained tannins. The warm McLaren Vale climate delivers flavour intensity and generosity, while thoughtful oak integration enhances depth and cellaring potential.

Deeply flavoured and expressive, this Cabernet Sauvignon reveals layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum and cocoa, complemented by notes of black olive, sage, cedar and subtle capsicum varietal character. The palate is rich and textured, combining dark fruit intensity with savoury complexity and finely structured tannins. Matured oak contributes spice and refinement, leading to a long, balanced finish with excellent persistence.

“Dark fruits, blackcurrant, mulberry, lavender and typical leafiness provide the framework, delivering house generosity while holding impeccable varietal shape. Cedar, currant and some briary notes inflect the supple, generous palate, with fine, integrated tannins corseting with considerable finesse for the ripeness.” 92 Points, Marcus Ellis Halliday Wine Companion
