Fruit is selected for the Magnitude Shiraz based on its ability to transmit the inherent power and depth that can be achieved in this unique region sandwiched between fault-lines. It’s named for both its geological history and the magnitude of the wine that can be produced from here. This is always one of Serafino’s most full-bodied wines with the structure and fortitude to come into its own in the cellar.

2021
A bold and muscular vintage that showcases the depth of McLaren Vale fruit, the 2021 Magnitude Shiraz displays intense aromas of ripe blackberry, mulberry and black cherry alongside liquorice, vanilla bean and subtle pepper spice. The palate is full-bodied and densely flavoured, with layers of black fruits, dark cocoa and toasted oak wrapped around a core of fine-grained tannins. Richness and generosity are hallmarks of the vintage, yet freshness and structure provide balance, leading to a lingering finish marked by spice, plum and savoury complexity.
