Howard Park’s Jeté Premier Brut NV is crafted in the traditional method from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier sourced from cool-climate vineyards across Western Australia’s southern wine regions, predominantly Great Southern and Pemberton. Hand-harvested fruit is whole-bunch pressed, with only the finest free-run juice retained before fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and French oak, while selected parcels undergo malolactic fermentation to enhance texture and complexity. Extended lees ageing prior to disgorgement contributes fine mousse, savoury depth and textural richness, balanced by vibrant acidity and mineral precision.
NV
The current disgorgement is based on the 2023 vintage, with reserve wine selected to create a blend of around 50% Pinot Noir with 45% Chardonnay and the remainder Meunier. It has been released in batches with a minimum or 22 months on lees, and a dosage of 2.5g/L.
“A generous aperitif, one that beautifully meshes white florals, citrus and apple with a rich cache of stone fruits. Overall, a nicely complex and engaging sparkling. Carries fresh, zesty white peach and citrus aromas with grilled grapefruit, almond meal and pastry scented notes. The fine texture makes an immediate impression, super fine, with the rise and rise of stone fruits and citrus, quince notes and pear skin expanding into a lemon curd taste and creaminess. Finishes clean, fresh and elegant.” 92 Points, Jeni Port, Wine Pilot (Dec 2025)
