Marchand & Burch is a unique transcontinental wine partnership uniting two of the world’s great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay regions: Burgundy and Western Australia’s Great Southern. Founded on the friendship between Australian vigneron Jeff Burch and renowned Burgundian winemaker Pascal Marchand, the project began with a chance meeting in the cellars of Domaine Comte Armand in Pommard in 1990 and was formally launched with the 2007 vintage. Guided by a shared belief in terroir, Marchand & Burch crafts site-driven wines that express the character of their origin, from the cool-climate vineyards of Mount Barker and Porongurup to carefully selected sites throughout Burgundy. The result is a distinctive collection that bridges Old World tradition and New World innovation, showcasing authentic expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from two exceptional wine regions.
