Tscharke Grenache Rosé

100% Grenache fruit frim the Gnadenfrei vineyard was hand harvested then immediately pressed. Fermentation occurred at cold temperatures for 30 days, preserving delicate floral aromatics and flavours. After one month, the wine was dry and ready to be racked before winter aging, remaining on fine lees for over seven months. Like all Tscharke wines, this is 100% organic, biodynamic and vegan.

2025

The nose is fresh and intensely perfumed, showing cherry, strawberry, musk and floral notes, with hints of green apple and herbs adding complexity. It’s bone dry but soft and textural, with lees contact bringing a creamy edge, fine tannins for balance, and flavours of strawberry and melon carrying through to a long finish.

2024

The bouquet is lifted, with floral notes of cherry, musk, strawberry and fresh-cut flowers. Zesty green apple, minerality and herbal notes provide extra complexity. This wine is bone dry, with the time on lees providing a textural creaminess that together with the finest of tannins, gives the wine a roundness and real presence. Flavours of violets, strawberry and melon define the palate and provide great intrigue, making you salivate for more.
