The last few years since Nic Bowen took the helm of Howard Park’s sparkling program have built on what was already a strong base, but shown us that Tasmania does not have a monopoly on quality Australian Sparkling wines. We have some new disgorgements in the shed and would like to highlight just a few of the recent achievements of this very tight range.

Petit Jeté
This cheeky Blanc de Blancs has just taken the award for Best Sparkling Wine (up to 24 months tirage) at the Australian Sparkling Wine Show and has also been rated 95 points by Ray Jordan, “This is an exceptional… A most complete and impressive sparkling wine.”

Jeté Premier Brut
A trophy at the Australian Sparkling Wine Awards, plus 95 points from Andrew Caillard: “Lovely complexity and persistency.”

Jeté Rosé
Trophy at the Australian Sparkling Wine Awards, Gold at Melbourne Royal, Gold also at the Perth Wine show, and 95 points from Mike Bennie on Halliday: “A wine of nuance and complexity, with drinkability writ large.”

Grand Jeté 2019
Trophy, Wine Show of Western Australia, 95 points from Andrew Caillard and 94 from Campbell Mattinson: “captivating and delicious. At $58 it’s a bit of a steal.”
