Champagne P. Vallée

Champagne P. Vallée

The Champagne and Chianti connection

Petite Vallée was born from a friendship between Bruno Bolfo of Vallepicciola and the Champagne house Forget-Brimont, marking Vallepicciola’s 25th anniversary with a project that united Tuscan ambition and Champagne tradition. Named after the French translation of “Vallepicciola”, the wines were initially crafted from premier vineyard sites in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs under the direction of Vallepicciola’s head winemaker, Alessandro Cellai.

Having established the brand, Vallepicciola has now embarked on the next stage of the journey, acquiring its own vineyard holdings in the Côte des Bar. This move reflects a long-term commitment to Champagne and creates a natural alignment with Cellai’s renowned expertise in Pinot Noir (although the holdings also include some of the Côte des Bar’s oldest Chardonnay plantings). As the driving force behind some of Tuscany’s most celebrated expressions of the variety, Cellai is uniquely positioned to unlock the potential of a region increasingly recognised as one of Champagne’s leading sources of characterful Pinot Noir.
