Champagne P. Vallée

The Champagne and Chianti connection

Petite Vallée is a a collaboration between long-term friends, Bruno Bolfo of Vallepicciola and the house of Forget-Brimont. A new Champagne line (celebrating 25 years at Vallepicciola) produced at an old estate, the name is the French translation of ‘Vallepicciola’.

The fruit is sourced from estate vines in the Mongagne de Reims area, plus Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs. All the wines are made at the winery in Ludes by the Forget-Brimont team undet the watchful eye of Vallepicciola winemaker, Alessandro Cellai. The wines remain in Forget’s exceptional chalk cellars, resting on their lees in bottle for the duration of their extended maturation.

At Alepat, we import the two Premier Cru wines, the Brut (a Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay blend), plus the Blanc de Noirs (Pinot Noir and Meunier). Both are non-vintage wines with significant age on the reserve blend, and have seen a minimum of 30 months on lees. Please contact us for information on the special release Grand Cru editions.
