The Inigo Riesling comes from three blocks on the Sevenhill property, which reach ripeness around the same time, but bring different complexities to the final wine. Each block is vinified separately with different yeast strains. The grapes are crushed and chilled prior to gentle pressing and cool ferments.

Fresh and bright citrus rind, lemon, lime and a hint of pink grapefruit on the nose… a powerhouse palate exploding with concentrated citrus… anchored by a core of acidity that delivers the classic Clare Valley clarity and drive.

“The sense of place is strong with this Riesling, with its dusty florals and citrus charm woven through warm textures. Intense lime and spice light up the aroma with sweet-smelling herbal edges and apple blossom florals. How delightful to see this level of complexity in a Riesling so young. Flavours run deep in full citrus mode – pith, peel and juice – with spice, and the weight gathers through the finish with a light savoury flourish to close. 2024
The warm and compact vintage of 2024 has provided some luscious white nectarine and orange blossom characters to the wine but pinpoint harvest timing has ensured it’s still Sevenhill’s bracing and well defined style. The wine has it’s trademark limey drive backed by terroir-sourced minerality and fruit purity. A classic Clare Riesling to drink in it’s youth, medium-term cellaring will also work its magic with this.
