Sevenhill’s Grenache vines are very old, estimated to be planted in 1920. Nestled in a small valley to the west of the winery, these old warriors are renowned for producing full-flavoured fruit but yield a very modest crop. It’s handled gently in the winery and to further preserve the natural intensity of the fruit, the wine received a very short maturation in stainless steel.
