Fresco interprets a renewed vision of sustainability for Masi, being organic, vegan and minimal-intervention wines. Both the white and red are wild yeast fermented and have no oak interferance. The Bianco is Garganega, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio blend (60%, 25% and 15% respectively). The fruit was harvested in the morning and gently pressed as whole berries. Hyperoxigination and cool fermentation followed. This wine is unfiltered and vegan. The bottle was designed in collaboration with world-famous architect Piero Lissoni, to be light, elegant and yet strong all at once, joining Masi’s drive towards 100% sustainability for their brand.
There’s a recognition of Soave styling in the varietal citrus peel and green almond characters of the Garganega, which is offsett by an intense and lifted floral bouquet, pea and pinapple top-notes and zesty acidity.
