The Domaine de la Perrière Petit Chablis is sourced from the family’s vineyards around Chichée, where gently sloping sites and stony soils contribute to both concentration and freshness. Harvested at full maturity, the fruit undergoes direct pressing followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, before spending 7 to 10 months in stainless-steel tanks. This approach preserves varietal purity and site expression while building texture and balance, resulting in a Petit Chablis of impressive depth and precision.
2025
The favourable 2025 growing season delivered healthy, evenly ripened fruit with excellent natural freshness, lending both generosity and definition to the finished wine. Bright and expressive, the wine opens with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach and green apple, layered with subtle notes of wet stone and oyster shell. The palate is generous yet finely structured, offering ripe lemon and orchard fruit flavours framed by a distinctive mineral edge. A core of vibrant acidity brings energy and length, while the estate’s preference for harvesting at full ripeness contributes added texture and generosity rarely associated with Petit Chablis. The result is a poised and authentic Chablis expression, combining purity, freshness and remarkable value.
