It takes over six months and 40 potatoes to make a bottle of Chopin Potato Vodka. The potatoes are grown without any chemical inputs on Chopin’s estate and within a 30-kilometre radius of the distillery in Krzesk, on the eastern lowlands of Poland, then harvested in season. Chopin processes and ferments all the potatoes onsite, then uses a 19th century copper column still, for a methodical quadruple distillation. The distillate then mellows in large barrels before bottling.
The farm-to-bottle production, painstaking attention and age-old technique ensure Chopin Vodka has a unique, authentic and premium taste. It’s why this is also the world’s most awarded pure potato vodka. Its uniquely creamy and full-bodied flavour profile makes it a great standalone drink, ideal for sipping or in martinis, but it also lends more gravitas to other cocktails than most other vodkas.
Chopin Potato Vodka’s aromas are clean and sweet, with subtle green apple and vanilla notes. The palate is rich, creamy and full bodied, with earthy nuances and a long finish with no burn. With its velvety mouth-feel, this is the perfect martini vodka, but it also works particularly well with citrus ingredients.
