Chopin Family Reserve is a small-batch, single-vintage vodka that has been aged for a minimum of two years in 50-year-old oak barrels before bottling. Every year, the Chopin team plant particular varieties of potatoes and grains searching for the perfect source material for new distillates. Each bottling of Family Reserve will change based on the results of these plantings and the vintage. The current release is a 100% potato vodka from 2016.
Hints of spice and a sweet musk aroma precede a gentle, earthy palate with a viscous, creamy mouthfeel and top-notes of liquorice and clove. The finish is long and smooth with tapering spice and lingering warmth.
