This is named for the Moscato-covered Sant’Antonio hill of Canelli where Lidia, Paolo Berta’s wife, was born. 100% Moscato marc was distilled in a copper pot steam-draft still. The distillate was housed in various sizes, toast and ages of Troncais oak for 12 months before bottling. An entry style to wood aged, single-variety grappa, this is an elegant and harmonious spirit with gentle aromas and flavours of vanilla, sage and citrus fruit. A pale amber in colour, the grappa is packaged in a 700ml stoppered, slimline bottle.
