Villa Prato Grappa Invecchiata is produced by the prestigious Distillerie Berta in Piedmont and takes its name from the historic Villa Prato in Mombaruzzo, a landmark restored and preserved by the Berta family. The grappa is crafted from a meticulous selection of premium Piedmontese grape pomace and represents the aged expression of the Villa Prato range.
Following distillation, the grappa is matured in oak for approximately 24 months, allowing it to develop greater complexity, softness and aromatic depth while retaining the elegance of the underlying distillate. The influence of oak contributes layers of vanilla, cocoa, dried fruit and spice, transforming the spirit into a richer and more contemplative style. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is designed as a premium after-dinner digestif.
Golden amber with bright highlights, Villa Prato Grappa Invecchiata offers an expressive bouquet of dried fruit, vanilla, cocoa, tobacco and delicate floral notes. The palate is rich, soft and enveloping, displaying layers of dark fruit, caramel, honey and gentle spice supported by elegant oak integration. Complex yet harmonious, the spirit develops beautifully across the palate before finishing long, warm and balanced with lingering notes of vanilla, cocoa and subtle oak sweetness.
