Burkes Hill Riesling is built around a site with genuine presence—an Eden Valley vineyard watched over by a Lutheran cross that speaks to the heritage of early European settlers in the Barossa. The wine also reflects a long‑standing friendship between founder Rob Gibson and acclaimed Riesling specialist Andrew Wigan, combining their contrasting strengths in red and white winemaking. The wine is crafted to capture the hallmark precision of Eden Valley fruit. It is matured in tank and given additional time in bottle to settle into its shape before release.

“Subtle and attractive aromatics – some native flora and bushland – with a pure, balanced, and even palate, classic acidity nicely threaded, with good lemon flesh flavours. Perfectly crafted. Drink now–2036” 95 Points, The Vintage Journal
“Lifted aromas of citrus pith, white flowers, wet stone, bath salts and green melon. Fine, focused, lemon, lime, pithy and poised. The acidity has plenty of swagger and shape and there’s just a lick of phenolic grip on the finish delivering shape and length” 93 points, Aaron Brasher, The Real Review
