Andrian’s Pinot Noir is grown on the mid-slopes of the Alto Adige DOC. After a hand harvest, fruit was fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Very gentle must movements were undertaken in order to preserve the high-toned aromatics and regulate phenols. Malolactic fermentation and a short maturation were completed in foudre.
High altitudes (450-600m above sea level) and carefully controlled yields gift Andrian’s Classic Range Pinot Noir intense floral and spice complexity to partner the pure cherry notes of the variety. This is a fresh and playful Pinot Noir, but still carries plenty of interest— with rosewood and mineral earth providing a see-sawing savoury balance to lavender, red berries and allspice.

“Warmed wild strawberries and raspberries mingle with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, and dried autumn leaves on the nose. The palate reveals a core of ripe red cherries and pomegranate, offering bright fruit and a well-structured balance. Fresh and vibrant, the zippy finish adds a lively burst, keeping each sip as fresh as the first.” 92 points, Jeff Porter, Wine Enthusiast
