Three Minds is a tribute to the friendship of three migrants from Toscana, Puglia and Abruzzo, stirred up with decades of immersion in Australian culture and companionship in the wine industry. Carlo, Fred and Mario came from the golden triangle of Italy’s food and wine areas, and their love of a good red is one of the elements that has bonded them over the last decades. 

Situated on McGillivray Rd, not far from the Coonawarra township, the Three Minds vineyard covers a broad, flat area of about 35 acres. It was planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the mid 1990s. While the rest of the fruit is sold, this bottling is from a smaller parcel of Reynella clone Cabernet Sauvignon chosen for its brighter, red-fruited profile, earthy thumbprint and fresh, peppermint-patty notes.
