The Berici region is a series of rolling hills between Vicenza and Verona, in the foothills of the Dolomites. It’s rocky (volcanic with a predominance of limestone and marl) and temperate, protected by the mountains and mitigated by the effect of the Adriatic sea. The project is managed by the Cielo family, and involves several small growers over a large area of 3000 hectares. They apply similar strict regimes to their vineyards, a collaboration that has existed for over 20 years. The wines produced come under the Vicenza DOC.
