L’Atto allows a more flexible and immediate expression of Aglianico, unconstrained by the stricter structural and ageing requirements of Aglianico del Vulture DOC/DOCG. Produced entirely from Aglianico but often sourced from younger vineyards, the wine undergoes a relatively short maceration (around 5–6 days) and is fermented in stainless steel before ageing in seasoned French oak within the estate’s volcanic tuff caves. This approach emphasises purity of fruit, freshness and accessibility, deliberately favouring a softer tannic profile and earlier drinkability over the power and longevity typically associated with DOC-level wines.

A fruit-forward aromatic profile is defined by fresh red and black fruits plus subtle floral and spice notes. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a clean, persistent finish that reflects both varietal character and volcanic origin. The overall style is approachable yet structured, offering a more immediate and convivial interpretation of Aglianico while retaining a clear sense of place.
