Cordero’s younger Nebbiolo vineyards in Alba and Cherasco are harvested separately and reclassified for the production of this wine. Designed to be a pure expression of the vineyard and to be open from the get-go, here there is a soft approach in the cellar, with lower temperatures, shorter maceration and more whole berries during fermentation. It’s always Cordero’s freshest Nebbiolo, with immediate pleasantness and complexity, accompanying everything from meat to fish, from the most subtly flavoured starter to richer and heavier mains.
2023
“The 2023 LN is an absolute delight. Crushed flowers, orange peel, cedar, cinnamon, sweet pipe tobacco and kirsch all grace this mid-weight, super-expressive Langhe Nebbiolo. All the elements are very nicely balanced.” 91 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

2022
“… Shows a medium dark garnet color with aromas of bright fruit, grilled rosemary and bramble. The unoaked Cordero di Montezemolo 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo is fresher and even greener than I would have expected from a vintage that was scorching hot at the top of the season.” 89 points, Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate
