Andrian’s Pinot Bianco grows on the mid-slopes of the DOC, on soils of erythroid, argillaceous lime and dolomite rock. After a harvest by hand, fermentation was at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, followed by maturation on fine lees for 6 months.
Like all Andrian’s whites there is a feeling of precision with this Pinot Bianco, although this plays out in the other ways you would expect of the variety and region, with a vibrant pear and stone fruit-noted bouquet and soft and elegant mouthfeel. Although there is a slippery texture to the wine, acidity is focused and culminates in a lip-smacking finish edged in varietal hazelnut and citrus peel length.

“The aromas of white pepper and apricot dominate, slightly herbaceous in a positive sense. Lively on the palate with medium body, weight and suppleness. Crisp, juicy finish.” 92 Points, James Suckling
