Andrian’s Sauvignon grows on the mid-slopes of the DOC, on soils of erythroid, argillaceous lime and dolomite rock. After a harvest by hand, fermentation was at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, followed by maturation on fine lees for 6 months.
Floreado translates as floral, for the microclimate in this area allows Kellerei Andrian to bring their Sauvignon Blanc to full ripeness. So, while the wine still has the bright acidity and delicate body known to Sauvignon drinkers, you’ll find the herbal notes of the variety are pointed more towards elderflower and nettle, backed by perfumed tropical notes.

“Expressive scent, lots of gooseberries, Buxbaum and herbs, also white flowers. Very typical of the variety. Very rich in Guam with fine fruit and spice, very clear and gripping. Ripe, green notes, almond kernels on the finish. Excellent accompaniment to summer dishes such as grilled vegetables with hummus and strong fish.” Vinum Magazine
