Tequila for Compa Drinks Co is crafted at a storied distillery established in 1926 in the heart of El Valle de Tequila, Jalisco. For nearly a century, this family-run estate has seamlessly blended deep-rooted tradition with modern craftsmanship.

From the lush blue agave fields to the drinks on your table, every step reflects unwavering dedication to quality. Skilled jimadores hand-select mature agave, then slowly steam-cook the piñas in masonry ovens. The softened hearts are milled via a classic roller mill, pressed five times to coax out their sweet core (aguamiel). A natural yeast fermentation follows in stainless-steel vats to awaken complex aromas and flavours, creating a 20% ABV wash called the mosto. A two-stage distillation follows—first to cleanse, then to purify into a clean Blanco, typically around 55% ABV.

The entire site—locally known as La Mexicana—is one of the most visited distilleries in Jalisco due to its commitment to education, excellence and heritage. As a certified foreign bottler of Tequila products, Compa works hand-in-hand with distillery partners in Mexico to bring together authentic Tequila, convenience and flavour in ready-to-drink format. First to market in Australia with 6% abv Ranch Water is Compa’s crisp, sparkling twist on the iconic Texan cocktail. Alongside it are 4% abv fruit-forward Tequila mixed varieties.
