Charles Melton’s 2021 Voices of Angels has been reviewed on Halliday: “There’s such a graceful slide of fruit across that palate, silky tannins and some lovely plum skin acidity”, 97 Points by Dave Brookes. It also picked up gold at the International Wine Competition (the 2021 Kirche also took out the trophy for best Barossa blend but sorry, we’ve just sold out!)
News from the National Wine Show is also good for Howard Park, taking a gold for their latest disgorgement of Jeté Rosé. Majella Wines are assuring us that there is good news to come with vintages yet to roll, the 2023 Composer also being awarded gold. Serafino’s star 2023 Reserve Grenache (already with a trophy from RASQ and Gold from Royal Hobart and Adelaide wine shows) also nabbed some gold, while their cheeky 2024 Bellissimo Fiano yet again proved it’s totally punching above its weight with silver (along with its previous awards of Trophies at RASQ and McLaren Vale wine shows and gold at Royal Queensland)
