A small but important addition to range, we finally have Camus VS in the country. We’ve been begging Camus for a sniff at this 97-point, Platinum-medal-winning Cognac for years. Previously only available in France, it’s now on Australian shores. Recognised as one of the top VS Cognacs in the world by the San Francisco World Spirits Awards, it received double-gold awards three years running before this platinum was awarded, a mark of the incredible consistency of this product. For us, it’s no surprise. Camus’s premium estate fruit, patented Intensity method, distillation on lees and use of small oak casks all lead to one thing – flavour. This means that despite its youthful classification, this VS will still stand up to older Cognacs and represent the pinnacle of the category.
