Toschi’s Lemoncello is bright, fresh and built around the natural intensity of Sicilian lemons. Sicily’s Mediterranean warmth, cool nights and mineral‑rich volcanic soils help produce lemons with exceptional juiciness, a fragrant peel rich in essential oils and a beautifully balanced, sweet‑tart flavour profile. Many parts of Sicily are even described as a “Lemon Riviera”, historic citrus belts where lemon trees have been cultivated since Arab times and remain central to the island’s culture and economy.
Toschi leans into these strengths with a traditional production approach. Fresh Sicilian lemon peels are carefully selected, then macerated in grain alcohol to draw out their essential oils before being distilled in copper for clarity and purity. The spirit is blended with water and a touch of sugar, then rested in stainless steel to harmonise without losing the fruit’s vivid brightness. The result is a limoncello that feels pure and expressive, to be enjoyed chilled on its own or mixed into a cocktail. Its natural vibrancy also makes it a beautiful finishing touch for desserts or any dish that leans into fresh, sunny acidity.
