The Holdsworth Pinot Noir Goes Platinum

Adding to its 98-point Double Gold at the New Zealand International Wine Show plus several similarly lofty ratings, our new top level Central Otago Pinot Noir from Nevis Bluff has just taken out a Platinum medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. The only Central Otago Pinot, and finding its place in the winner’s circle in a competition that has over 17,000 entries from 58 countries, the judges described it as: “Immaculately defined dark red berries, hibiscus and rose petals (…) Broad-shouldered with finely-hewn tannins, bright acidity and a wild thyme abundance that parades towards the long, charismatic finish.” Note, this 2024 vintage will soon be rolled to the 2025. And, while we’re not expecting any change in the immaculate quality of this wine, you might want to get the current vintage before it disappears…
