If you love a good vineyard rabbit hole, Nevis Bluff is one of those Central Otago producers that rewards a closer look. Their home block, the L’Attitude Vineyard in Pisa, is a quietly iconic 20 hectare site sitting at 45° south on free draining Waenga loam and schist gravels, and it has been farmed by the same viticulturist for more than 15 years. Everything here is hand picked and low cropped, shaped by those wild Central Otago contrasts of scorching high GDD days and cool alpine nights. Matt Connell, who has won the Champion Pinot Noir Trophy four times at the New Zealand International Wine Show, is now the winemaker guiding these vines. The result is Pinot that is not only site expressive, but also crafted with an almost obsessive level of detail, proven by recent accolades which you can find on our website under each product. Get in touch to book in a trade visit in April, and stay tuned for more exciting news (did someone say trade incentive trip to New Zealand?).
