We now have the full set of Charles Melton premium reds from the long, mild 2021 growing season in the Barossa. This vintage is certainly one for the collectors, and although Melton’s wines are always perfect for the cellar, the structure and finesse of these wines are really something else. The Voices of Angels is 100% Adelaide Hills Shiraz, from a site just bordering the Barossa, a cooler expression known for its silky structure, spice and persistence. Grains of Paradise is Melton’s
darkest, densest Shiraz wine, 100% dry-grown Barossa estate fruit, aged for 28 months in new and aged American oak. Finally, the Nine Popes is the classic GSM blend, a selection of Melton’s best fruit coming together in a wine known for its generous spectrum of flavours, exceptional balance and
energy. The reviews are yet to start flowing in for these wines, but early response from the wine media has included two 97-point ratings and an honourable mention in Matthew Jukes top 100 Australian wines of 2025.

oak spice and earth. It’s savoury and succulent at once with a sapid, briny energy and a sweep of sour morello
