With a history dating back to 1892, Taylor Ferguson is a company well entrenched in the Australian wine scene and, as part of the Alepat Taylor network, has been growing, sourcing, making, bottling and selling wines in Australia and abroad for well over 100 years. Along with our wholesale distribution we have always produced our own ranges of wines, off our own estate in Coonawarra and sourced through our strong network of growers.
A newly launched Taylor Ferguson Regional Range brings a focus to premium fruit from well-respected regions of southern Australia, and takes advantage of our new resident winemaker Willy Lunn (who brings decades of knowledge and experience across multiple regions), and an expanded partnership in the King Valley, from where we are now sourcing some lovely cool-climate white varieties. Varietal flavour is paramount in this range, with a fruit-forward mix of great value wines that are true representations of both their grape and regions.
The new labelling is bold and contemporary, each variety with its own hue. Along with looking superb as a range on the shelf, the colours to help customers locate their favourite easily. Currently available are the Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio from the King Valley, plus a bright and modern Shiraz from McLaren Vale. An exceptional value multi-regional Pinot Noir has just joined the mix, as has a vibrant and beautifully balanced sparkling red. Almost ready to be released are a King Valley Chardonnay and Coonawarra Merlot, with a couple more wines hot on their tails in early 2025.
