In Italy, il vignaiolo, ‘the winemaker’ is much more than just that. Caretaker not only of wines but tradition, they are the natural recipient of generations of experience passed through decades and sometimes centuries, by the families who live on and by the land. 

Il Vignaiolo is also a project to assemble expressive, geographically typical and flavoursome Italian wines, each made by a master of their region. These wines share a deep connection to their respective regional table, delicious local recipes that we now consume all over the world. All are indigenous Italian grapes, unique in style, artistic in their simplicity and ready to take you to an Italian dining experience, no matter where you are. 

This new range will grow over time as we come across the right parcels of fruit and vignaioli who can assist with producing these lovely wines for the table. Coming early 2025 to join our first shipment of Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese are a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Sicilian Nero d’Avola, plus a Rosato from Emilia Romagna.
