Time waits for nobody, not even wine labels. Refreshes on labelling are part and parcel of the wine game, but in this occasion there was an even bolder message we needed to convey with our changes to Alexander Hill. It’s a great value product and usually served as an entry level offering for large events. This means the packaging not only needs to be as fresh as the classy juice inside it, but it must also be picture-perfect on an event table no matter what the decor of the rest of the room. So, as our commander and chief likes to say, not only did we throw the baby out with the bathwater, we also cleared out the soap, the scrubbing brush and all the towels.
We’d like to thank Design Energy for understanding the brief and taking it exactly where we wanted it, especially through such a dramatic change. They did so well, the revamp has just picked up the award for best packaging redesign in the recent Packwine awards. We’re in love with the design, and it’s working just as well as we expand the range (Our first rosé is being launched next week).
So, if you’re after a new wine for events and anything else where a perennial crowd-pleaser is what’s called for, take a look at the range. If you like what you see, please reach out and we’ll send a rep your way with a sample…
