The World Brand Design Society is a not-for-profit, independent group running annual global awards for the design industry. The international, industry-based judging panel grants awards not just on the visual presentation and delivery, but contextual clarity, purpose, relevance, creativity and innovation. Competing brands are from across the globe and the whole food and beverage category.
Alexander Hill has received a gold award for the refashioning of a traditional name and label into a modern and eye-catching way that retained relevance. The minimal colour palette with textural stock and gold foil work together to create a premium looking brand without blowing out production costs on a wine that needs to remain at entry level for our clients. More information can be found on worldbranddesign.com.
This recent award joins last year’s Packwine Award, for best packaging redesign. Design industry recognition is vital in assuring us that we are matching the innovation of the packaging of our products along with ensuring the juice inside is as special as we can make it. It’s also our guarantee to our clients that this range will present well to their own customers, driving sales and volume.
As for our other part of the job, we’ve just introduced a Pinot Grigio to the range, suiting contemporary consumer demands for an alternative white to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It joins a comprehensive spread of red, white, rosé and sparkling to ensure needs and wants are locked up across the board, making Alexander Hill so much more than just entry-level function wine.
