Camus brings home the bling

Camus Cognac has recently won multiple golds at spirits ceremonies around the world, from the VSOPs upwards. The Borderies VSOP took gold at the Global Cognac Masters (The Spirits Business), plus was awarded gold and ‘Cognac of the year’ at the 2024 ISW (Meininger’s International Spirits Award), who said:

“Borderies is the smallest of the six Cognac crus and rarely comes close to the renown of Grande or Petite Champagne. Wrongly so, as this single estate bottling from Camus shows. The predominant terroir of limestone and clay produces a fabulously soft Cognac with delicate floral aromas, while the ageing in red oak provides creamy vanilla and the freshness of orange peel.”

The XO Borderies also received gold in those same awards, plus an extra at the SFWSC (San Francisco World Spirits Competition). The Intensely Aromatic VSOP has also taken gold at the ISW, while the newly arrived XO—now packaged in a stunning decanter—took gold at the ISW plus the SFWSC.
